The People's
Military Medical Press was established in 1950. It is the first
national medical publisher since the founding of the People's
Republic of China. We have been privileged with inscriptions from
Chairman Mao and five internationally renowned marshals like Zhu De,
and Chen Yi.
We have been awarded
the title of "Good publisher" and for 3 successive years, commented
as "Publisher with Fine Prestige and Service" by the General
Administration of Press and Publication of China. Since 2000, we
have maintained a steady 30% annual increase. Around 200 of our
publications can be found among the bestsellers on the national
ranking charts of medical related publications, making us the second
largest publisher in the medical science publishing industry in
China.
Our motto of "Loyalty, Friendliness, Originality and
Transcendency"
and an atmosphere of "School, Family, Enterprise, Clean Soil,
Happiness", along with the 8000 m2 modern and splendid
office building, are the symbol of the go-aheadism of PMMP.
Being a large
comprehensive medical publisher, we publish medical journals,
medical related books, audiovisual and electronic products.
Annually, we publish over a thousand varieties of books with a list
price of more than 1 billion Yuan.
Our publication ranges from medical and health related books to
audiovisual and electronic products, including medical science
monographs, guidelines for diagnosis and treatment, reference
handbooks, textbooks, examination books, specialty tools books,
Chinese traditional medicine books, popular reading books, hospital
management books, military medical science books etc.
One of our journals,
《Medical Journal of Chinese PLA》, is a core national academic
journal published both nationally and internationally. Another one,
《People's Military Medical Science》, is a practical medical journal
targeted to satisfy the needs of primary level medical workers.
